IT'S WORKING!

Okay....I am over my head in duties right now and can't give my full attention to a post today.  BUT...among ALL the other things I am trying to keep up with, the boys are really testing my ability to be patient and shepherd, rather than punish!

They have been arguing and using unkind words with each other for the past week....and having a lot of "couch time".  This is always followed up with me telling them that we are family, we love each other and one of the ways we show love in our family is by using kind words and thinking of others before ourselves. They usually answer, "Yes, Mom." before I am even done talking.  :/

But, just a moment ago, they were playing on the kitchen floor and Sam's dinosaur was trying to eat another dinosaur.  He was growling, "I'M GOING TO EAT YOU! GRRRRRRR!  I AM GOING TO EAT YOU!  AARRRGGHHH!  I AM GOING TO EEEEAAAAATTT YOU!!!", when all of the sudden, Gecko's knight said to the vicious dino, "Now, now.  Is that how you show love in your family?"

I laughed so hard, I cried!  BUT....the point is, staying consistent works!!!
