I think the proudest day of most homeschool moms' lives is the day their child learns to read. Because of them. Or, in the case of at least one of my children, in spite of them!
I didn't get to teach Catey. Joss learned after much fear and trepidation...and didn't love it til many years later. Carli was so defiant that after spending a year TRYING to teach her, I quit....and she taught herself! And now...today!
The day the Gecko learned to read!!!! AWESOMESAUCE, buddy!!
